MCUSA Girls U11 28th Annual Friendship Tournament Champions :: By Coach Marc Patel and Dwayne Dodds
MCUSA- Girls U11 team, the Blades are coached by Marc Patel and Dwayne Dodds.
Our Fall Season record was 3 wins, 4 losses, and 3 ties playing in the
HYSA Division 2 strong bracket. We did, however, manage to place first
in the Alvin Summer Classic and our own Friendship Tournament.
Our record was a little disappointing because we felt that we could have won a
few more games, but overall, we are very proud of the girls. In the past, our
team had problems when down by a goal or two, but this season, the girls came
from behind to win or tie several games. Two of these came in the last minute
or two of the game. Dwayne and I feel as if our team has turned a corner and
has a solid foundation upon which to keep building. Our immediate goal is to
win a championship, but we would really like to move into Division 1 which we
will do when the girls are ready for the challenge, but we are not there yet.
To keep the girls busy between seasons, we are planning to play in the Eclipse
Invitational Tournament in January and will continue to practice once a week.

MCUSA-U13 Boys 28th Annual Friendship Tournament Champions :: By Coach Victor Romero
MCUSA-U13 Boys team coached by Victor Romero won the championship game for the
U13 Bracket at 28th Annual Friendship Tournament. The indivdual contributions
made by each and everyone of the team players allowed the team to take 1st place
in their tournament bracket. Top: Emilio Carrizales, Jairo Hernandez, Salvador Lozano,
Ernesto Arreola, Christian Romero, Juan Caceres, Coach Victor Romero, Alberto Mendez,
Oscar Adame, Christopher Adame, Brian Marcia, Saul Rodriguez, Bottom: Jose Guzman,
Raul Martinez, Alexis Parra.

MCUSA U16 Boys Headed To State Play Offs!! :: By Coach Joe
Boys U-16 are headed for Super 2 State Play-offs Dec 12 & 13, game will be played in Beaumont. The team coached by Joe Perez had a lot of success in 09. Tournament results include: 1st place: 09- Thanksgiving Lonestar Showcase in Austin, Albion Hurricanes D-1, Copa Jarritos, Maya Park Invitational, 2nd place: 09 Verizon Cup ,
3rd place: 09 Tx Madness Premier Bracket, Lost in PK shoot out with Premier teams, S Tx Tigeres, and 09 Nationals Champs N Tx Lonestar. In Tournaments Played, the team is currently ranked 11th South Texas, 62 Region 3, and 269 National.
