The MC Blades won the HYSA D2 Eastern District champions!!
The MC Blades won the HYSA D2 Eastern District championship in Beaumont, Texas
December 18 and took second overall at the HYSA D2 State championship tournament in San Marcos over this past weekend. At the State tournament, The Blades were tied for first place with the McAllen Bullets, but the Bullets had beat the Blades in head to head competition which elevated them to first place. In that game, the Bullets prevailed over the Blades 2 to 1 on an incredible, last minute shot. Hats off to them.
The MC Blades had a great season winning all 9 of their games and then had two great championship tournaments. It was a complete team effort the entire season and throughout the championships with different players stepping up each game. The photo is of the Blades shortly after their final game which was their 2nd win at the state tournament. The MC Blades players, coaches and trainers are listed below.

The MCUSA U13 Girl's Team won their division in the MCUSA Tournament!!
We tied our first game 0 to 0 against Eclipse 99 Red, won our second game 1 to 0 against West Houston,
and won our third game 4 to 0 against Houston Express. We were to advance to the championship playoffs against the West Houston team,
but the game was called off due to the thunderstorms. Based on our points going into the championship game,
we had 22 and West Houston had 16, we were awarded the 1st place trophies.
It was a great experience for the team and everyone enjoyed participating in
the MCUSA Friendship Tournament.

The MCUSA Red Hot Revolution won second place in the Texas Rush Cup!!
The U10 Girls Red Hots Revolution started off the fall season with a 2nd place finish in the Texas Rush Cup.
We played 4 games in the 100 degree weather. We first played United and beat them 3-2. Then we played Texas Rush Blue and won 3-1. Our Third game was against Texas Rush White and we won 2-0. We lost to a very good Texas Gold Rush team in the final game 5-0, but we were very proud of our Red Hots.
What a way to start off the season!!!
