MCUSA Online Registration is OPEN!!!

Houston Youth Soccer Association (HYSA) and Missouri City United Soccer Association (MCUSA) have gone to a new web based registration program. The Fall 2009 ONLINE REGISTRATION is open now through July 31, 2009. To insure that your player will have their uniform and player card to be eligible to play in the first HYSA game, registration must be submitted by the deadline.

Every family will have to go through the complete registration process this season. Like all new programs we are sure that there will be some bugs. We are working hard to minimize the bugs and you are welcome to send any suggestions to registrar@mcusasoccer.org.

We believe that the benefits of this new program will be of great value to our club.

MCUSA U15 Boys takes First Place :: By Coach Joe Perez

Revolution-Perez U15 Boys, takes first place at the Albion Memorial Day Tournamnet. The team played on the D-1 /Gold Bracket. Thier record was, Albion 0-0, Westside Dragons 3-0, and Tx Rush Nike 1-1, and final game against Tx Rush 2-1,

On May16-17 they also placed first at the Sueno de tu Vida Tournament and May 9-10 and second place at the Verizon Cup.

Coach Joe and the his team want to send a special thanks to guest players, Ian Voohrie, Isa Mecedo, and Ontney Crawford.

REVOLUTION SUMMER POWER KICKS

MCUSA invites all players who would like to remain in game shape for the upcoming Fall season to join us for Revolution Summer Power Kicks. Players who participate in this training do not have to be current members of MCUSA. Simply Join us for the fun!

These sessions are "FREE" and Kids of age groups U6 thru U12 are invited attend the training sessions that will be held once a week from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at the MCUSA S5, S6, L5 and L6 (see club field map) practice fields at Missouri City Community Park. The setting will be fun and stress free, but the focus will be on technique and games. The training sessions will be coordinated and ran Mr. Daniel Wainwright and coaches of MCUSA teams.

**All players must wear cleats and shin guards, have water or sports drink, and bring their own age appropriate (U6/U8 #3, U9/U12 #4) soccer ball.

**All players must fill out and sign our Medical Release Form.

Training will be held on the following dates 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm:

• June 18th
• June 25th
• July 2nd
• July 9th
• July 16th
• July 23rd

MCUSA 95 Boys win Albion Memorial Day Tournament :: By Coach Stan

MCUSA 95 Boys finished out their U13 year by winning the rain-shortened Albion Memorial Day Cup.

After an opening 1-0 win against Texas National team, then beating Texas Rush Swoosh White 1-0, the boys then exploded for 5 goals in their third game for a 5-0 over the hosts U13 Black team from Albion. Facing a winner takes all on a muggy Sunday afternoon, the boys continued their excellent play for a 1-0 win to take the Championship. It need to be noted that under the steady hand of David Lieske(trainer) the defense did not give up a single goal for the entire tournament.

A special thanks goes out to the parents for serving up an awesome pancake breakfast and a submarine sandwich lunch in between games to help keep the boys fuel levels up!!!

End of the Spring 2009 Season - Early Registration for Fall 2009 is OPEN!!!

Today was our last game for the In-house program; we had a wonderful season and all the kids enjoyed playing and improving their skills. As result of been the last day, we celebrated with a Hotdog Cook-off and End of the Season party and we gave away the kids trophies.

Thanks to all our volunteer coaches, assistant coaches and team moms for make this happen and for all the enthusiasm and effort they put on the field. But definitely thanks a lot for all the kids that put all the effort on every game and we can forget all the parents cheering them up every play of the game!!

Now that our Spring 2009 season is over, is time for the Club to think ahead for the next Fall 2009 Season; we have opened the Early Registration, read below to follow the instructions.
